Jerrie went to nursing school after graduation and met and married Mike Sullivan from Winsted, CT while they were both students in New Haven. They moved to Chicago for three years while Mike was in law school and then to Columbus, Ohio.
They spent the rest of their lives in Columbus where Mike practised law and together they raised three delightful daughters. They traveled a lot, often with the entire family which grew to include four grandchildren.
Jerrie died in October, 2004 following back surgery and Mike followed in January, 2007.
